Krishna Bodanapu serves as the Non-Executive Chairman at Cyient DLM. He is also the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Cyient Ltd and a member of the company's board of directors. He is responsible for providing strategic direction to the company and creating long-term value for stakeholders. He brings a wealth of experience with him and has significantly contributed to Cyient's consistent growth in revenue, margin, and customer acquisition and engagement. In this role, he also regularly embarks on several initiatives to provide best-in-class workplace policies for greater associate satisfaction.
Under Krishna's leadership, Cyient has successfully established itself as a strategic partner by leveraging its technical expertise, domain knowledge, and service offerings across the Design, Build, Operate & Maintain value chain for its customers. Toward this objective, Krishna led the acquisition of Mysore-based Rangsons Electronics in 2015. The acquisition helped Cyient to position itself as a reliable offset partner and added integrated end-to-end capabilities to the company's contribution to the "Make in India" program and expand into high-technology and high-value, design-led systems and solutions.
Before Cyient, Krishna was with Altera Corporation, a leading semiconductor manufacturer in San Jose, where he was responsible for the company's flagship product line, APEX. Krishna was also the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Telangana, for the year 2020-21. In this capacity, he worked closely with the state government and the other industry members to promote industry competitiveness, investments, and international relations. Krishna holds a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a Master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
